Moving a Bridgeport to my shop.

I have wanted to upgrade my shop for a while. The occassion arrived when Jim Abrams, a good friend and fellow member of Waushakum Live Steamers decided to upgrade to a larger Bridgeport. I arrived at Jim house at 3:30 PM. We began prepare the machine for my moving crew (three good friends from my parish). Jim Abrams, Mariano Ferreira, Phillipe, Manuel Sousa (left to right).

Mariano lifts as the others roll it out the door into the cold winter day. The temp was 25 degrees with a nice cold wind.

Finally, the machine is outside. I din't think we would get it out that easy.

Mariano brings his fork lift right up and picks up the machine. Then we put the table back on.

Now we are off to the truck.

Right on the truck.

The machine is finally in place in my shop by 5:30 PM. Now it's time for a nice glass of red wine to warm us up.
